What is ISEH?
Information Security and Ethical Hacking (ISEH) Institute is the flagship of this domain. At present this is the only institute dedicated to Information Security and Ethical Hacking in Pakistan. It aims at providing comprehensive carrier paths to its students through state-of-the-art education/ training, compliance with latest international standards of ICT security and corporate ingress. ISEH provides this at comparatively very less and affordable cost.
Who founded ISEH?
Information Security and Ethical Hacking Institute, Pakistan (ISEH) was founded on 23rd March 2019 by a group of people, who recognized the need for a state-of-the-art institute that cultures knowledge along with associated skills to produce indigenous professionals to address dire needs of the time in the field of Information & Cyber Security. It is designed on a modular approach to achieve excellence with focused approach initially, thereafter, not only gradually rise up to the prevailing international standards but also serve as a platform to unify existing scattered professionals in this field for R&D.
How do you teach these courses?
On campus and online interactive classes are conducted for Regular courses during week days supplemented by due lab practices and assessment through Quiz Tests, Mid and End term exams. Besides, personality building is done through teaching communication and interview skills.
Fast track courses are conducted on weekends; but only for those students who have sufficient knowledge of the course for which they have applied.
One to One course learning is also available and conducted by one faculty member assigned to one student; for this arrangement a substantially higher fee is charged.
Do you offer free courses?
No, not at the moment.
Do you offer course completion certificate?
Yes, students who qualify a course will get a verifiable recognition certificate to the fact.
Why ISEH does not offer other IT related courses?
As the name indicates; ISEH institute is dedicated for education, training and R&D in the domain of Information Security and Ethical Hacking and related supplementary subjects only. Therefore, it does not offer other IT courses.
Do you offer refund of fee?
Yes, only to those who do not qualify in entry assessment tests and elect to withdraw their application for admission.
What kind of job we can get after completing these courses?
There are more than 66 available Job titles for all levels of InfoSec courses. The per month salary ranges between Rs.80,000.00 and Rs.350,000.00 in Pakistan and from $2500.00 to 8500.00 in international market.
What are Information Security and Cyber Security?
- Info security is concerned with making sure data in any form is kept secure irrespective of the realm. Information security deals with the protection of data from any form of threat.
- Whereas, Cybersecurity is to protect anything in the cyber realm. Cybersecurity deals with danger against own cyberspace. Cybersecurity strikes against Cybercrimes, cyber frauds and helps law enforcement. Cybersecurity is all about protecting data that is found in electronic form (such as computers, servers, networks, mobile devices, etc.) from being compromised or attacked. Part of that is identifying what the critical data is, where it resides, its risk exposure, and the technology you have to implement in order to protect it.
What are Hacking and Ethical Hacking?
- Acts intended at exploiting digital devices such as computers, embedded devices, cellphones, tablets and even the entire networks is referred to as Hacking. While hacking is not always for malicious purposes, most references to it now a days define it as illicit cybercriminal actions motivated by monitory gains, protests, information gathering and for only Fun of the challenge. Whereas,
- The legal practice of subverting system security in order to identify potential data breaches and hazards in a network/ system is known as Ethical Hacking. The company that controls the system or network allows Cyber Security Experts to do such operations in order to test the system's defense.
Which Track is better; Defensive, Offensive or Forensic?
- Ideally, Defensive Security pathway is suitable for individuals interested in Network and Hardware Security. Whereas,
- Offensive Security pathway is suitable for professionals interested in Ethical Hacking/ Pen-testing to test information security of various organizations. And,
- Digital Fraud Prevention and Digital Forensics is suitable for those who aspire to become experts in recovering data/ evidence of crime from digital devices and investigating digital devices to prevent computer/ digital crimes in the society.
Which level is enough to get a job?
Who should apply to which course?
- Anyone who has completed at least 10th grade in conventional education and now wants to pursue his carrier in the domain of information security and ethical hacking.
- Who already have requisite knowledge & skills of any ISEH course level and wants to get certificate for recognition or employment.
- Candidate already working in the field of IT and wants to switchover to information security and ethical hacking.
- Any other person who is interested to gain in depth knowledge of ICT security domain.
What are the eligibility criteria to enroll in a course?

- Copy of CNIC or Form B (incase of less than 18 years of age).
- Undertaking by the Father/ Guardian.
- Copy of all educational and certificate studies.

What is average length of a course?
Most of the short-term courses are of 1 - 2 months’ duration. Classes are usually conducted on alternate days i.e. 3 days per week. On course days; there are two to three classes and each class is of 50 minutes duration.
Fast track courses are also conducted but for only those students who have sufficient knowledge of the course for which they have applied.
