Who is Ethical Hacker?
As per Wikipedia, a computer Hacker is a computer expert who uses his technical knowledge to achieve a goal or overcome an obstacle, within a computerized system by non-standard means. Though, the term Hacker has become associated in popular culture with a security hacker – someone who utilizes his technical know-how of bugs or exploits to break into computer systems and access data which would otherwise be unavailable to him. The hackers are categorized basing on their working methodology, care of law and ethics. Amongst them, an Ethical Hacker is defined as a technological specialist who is generally hired by an organization to examine its security systems in order to identify flaws that can be exploited by others. Ethical hackers may utilize the same tactics as others types of hackers but instead of exploiting the vulnerability for their gains; they report the vulnerabilities to the owner. To become an Ethical Hacker worth his salt, one has to have base knowledge of certain technologies, tools and systems. Therefore, this Amateur Ethical Hacking course delves into basics of computer systems, operating systems, networking, web applications, databases and host of other miscellaneous technologies as well as methodology of hacking, actual exploitation exercises and cyber laws. Thus, it shall enable beginners to take their first confident leap into the information security spectrum with ease.

Anyone who has passed at least his 10th standard (Matric or O-Levels) and can use computer easily.
One who is already in IT industry but wants to switch over to to Information Security track.

The Art of Ethical Hacking encompassing basics of ethical hacking, skills needed to become ethical hacker, code of conduct and basic frameworks/ tools needed for ethical hacking.
Ethical Hacking Methodology including approaches, phases, ethical hacking exercises and cryptography & steganography.
Measures, both defensive and offensive, to ward off any hacking attempt on own digital systems.
